Came for lunch because we were a couple miles away. Glad we did! Great food, friendly people! I had gorditas, my go-to. Flavor awesome, asada yummy, more refried beans and thinner than I am used to, but would definitely get again. DH had combo plate and loved the tamale. Loved my margarita, surprisingly and fantastically sour. Next time will try queso.
Some of the best food in this country, how about that. Everything here is good. Todo. The tacos , are simply irresistible. my go to spot when I need good food, that's it.
There are good tacos and there are great tacos. Don Choche serves up great tacos . This out of the way joint sits in the Village of Los Ranchos in the North Valley. But if you're craving tacos than this is the place you wanna be. The menu is extensive but our go to favorite is their Birria Tacos served up with a delicious au jus. And did I mention their gargantuan Shrimp Cocktail? Don Choche is the real deal.
Our new favorite place. Delicious and authentic. The house enchiladas and any green chile brisket tacos are favorites but we haven't gone wrong yet.
If you can handle spiciness. This is the place for you. I asked for less spicy but ended up very, very spicy (red sauce was recommended). I couldn't finish my meal. The horchata was very delicious. My daughter cheese burger was good. My husband asada tacos were over cook, didn't stop him eating it all lol. Other than my spicy meal, the service was fantastic.
